Irving, Texas, is happy to offer quite a few thrilling Halloween celebrations to bring in the year’s spooky season. With family-friendly fun, everyone can enjoy tricks, treats, and unforgettable experiences at fun events in Irving, though some celebrations are certainly more adult-oriented. Take a look at these three Halloween celebrations.

Eerie Irving

Eerie Irving is an event held by the local Parks and Recreation Department with haunted scenes and costumed ghouls, ghosts, and monsters designed to entertain without anything seriously scary. In fact, certain parts of the event are specially designed for younger visitors, but the entire celebration is open to all ages. It’s going to be held on Oct. 22 at Trinity View Park on East State Highway.

Preserve Halloween Fest

The Preserve Halloween Fest is an event that celebrates the rich history and cultural diversity found in the historical practice of Halloween as a holiday. Learn about rich Gaelic and Celtic lore and discover the holiday’s pagan origins while also learning about the more mundane aspects of historical celebration, like appreciation of the harvest. It’s held at the Irving Convention Center from Nov. 18-20.

Halloween Bar Crawl

If you’re looking for a more adult-oriented celebration, the Halloween Bar Crawl is a fun option that’ll take you through at least five different venues. Exclusive drink specials will be available for all participants, and cover costs are waived. Plus, there’s a costume contest with a $1,000 prize at stake. It all starts at 4 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Whether you’re decked out in costumes with the kids or on a date with your honey, Halloween in Irving has a celebration for everyone.
