Pizza is an awesome idea whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or an easy dinner. You can pick up your pizza, or have it delivered so you don’t miss the game or work.
Pizza Patron
The Pizza Patron can be found at 822 E. Irving Blvd. This unique business focuses on traditional pizzas with a Latin flair. You can try the De Carnes with four different kinds of cheese and four different types of meat. If you want a taste of Mexico, try the Mexicana with chorizo and jalapenos. The staff has also turned a classic chicken enchilada into a pizza for a Latin twist on an Italian meal.
Beyond the unique flavors, they also have a classic spinach pie as well as vegetarian and Hawaiian options. You can round out your meal with chicken wings, and you can choose from five different types of churros for dessert.
Chicago Pizza and Pasta House
Take a trip to Chicago without leaving Irving when you visit the Chicago Pizza and Pasta House. The restaurant is located at 114 E. John Carpenter Freeway in suite 160. You have the option of thin-crust pizza or a Chicago-style deep dish. They do make a gluten-free crust if you need it. There are 16 specialty pizzas on the menu with Chicago themes, including the Cubs, Blackhawks, and Wrigley Field. They even make a Cooki’zza for dessert.
As you visit each pizza joint, check out the menus and decor. What sticks out or makes the place unique? Make sure you pass this information on to friends when they ask for pizza suggestions.
