Irving, Texas, is home to some great spots to find delicious pizzas. We’ve gathered info on a couple of our favorite places. Take a look.
- Marino’s Pizza
At 3985 North Belt Line Road, you’ll find a menu packed with pasta plates, subs, wings, and, most importantly, pizza. When you crave a hand-crafted taste of Italy, Marino’s Pizza has you covered. Their customers can’t get enough of their signature pizza: Marino’s Chicken. It comes with pizza sauce, chicken, cheese, onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Other specialty pizza options include the supreme, vegetarian, meat lover, Hawaiian, BBQ chicken, and buffalo chicken.
Sub lovers will enjoy the Italian super-sub served here, which is a combination of ham, pepperoni, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and dressing on a 10-inch sub roll.
- Pie Pizzeria
For a mom-and-pop style pizza parlor experience, head to Pie Pizzeria at 2206 West Walnut Lane. There you’ll find appetizers like stuffed jalapenos, BBQ wings, and mozzarella sticks. Follow them up with a gourmet calzone, a custom pizza, a sandwich, pasta, or one of Pie Pizzeria’s gourmet pizzas. Pie Pizzeria gourmet pizzas include chicken pesto, eggplant, vegetarian, meat lover, bacon cheddar ham, Mediterranean, and spinach alfredo pizzas. For a cheaper meal, come by for a lunch special, available Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Both of these excellent pizza parlors place a great deal of importance on their patrons’ positive experiences, so you’ll be well looked after at either location. Check each one out when you have the time. Their food and drink are more than worth the trip.
